Consistent Persistent

Words to the wise

Very recently, we had a conversation with a client who wanted to better understand why or how one of their ‘competitors’ was so successful on social media regarding engagement and transactions. So we took a harder look at the competitor’s social content, including their website, and concluded that they were not doing ‘anything remarkable’ compared to our client’s efforts.

But what we did find was that they were consistent in message and presentation across all accounts and website, always with a call to action worthy of the content. And they were also persistent. Posting as many as four times per day, with new, or updated content and no engagement drop off.

A reminder that so much marketing is about the basics. Stay the course.

Regardless of the economy. Regardless of trends. Be consistent. Be persistent.
